We link to original reporting whenever it exists, so readers can verify claims and read further.
We attribute facts and quotations to the people, publications, or institutions that produced them.
Where a source is anonymous, we explain why and what we did to verify the information.

Independence

Meta Currents is independent. Our coverage is not influenced by sponsors, advertisers, or the personal political views of contributors. If a story involves a current or prospective sponsor of Meta Currents, that relationship is disclosed in the article.

AI-assisted content

Some articles are partially constructed using data from large language models, used as a drafting and summarization aid. Every such article is reviewed by a human contributor before publication and carries a note at the bottom indicating LLM assistance. Articles that are 100% human-written do not carry the note.
